Another good loss for me
Just got back from my fourth weigh-in. I was a bit concerned, as last week I only lost .1kg, but I knew exactly why (falling off the TF wagon onto a big pile of carbs!). I've been very good this week, and it's paid off. I lost another 2kg today, taking the 4-week total to 8.1kg. I also lost another 1 cm off my waist, taking the total to 9cm I've actually gone from an original size 22-24 about 2 years ago (eww) down to a 16-18 prior to TF 2 weeks ago, and now am wearing 16 pants and 12-14tops! OH MY GOD! I'm a bit chuffed with myself right now, and willing to divorce my gorgeous hubby to marry Tony!!!

OK, I'm back!
It's been a long hiatus, but I'm finally back.
After plateau-ing for 4 months, I gave WW the flick, and have started the Tony Ferguson plan. I've seen it work with a couple of my friends and decided to give it a go. Well, has it been successfull so far!
My starting weight was 93.7, which was on Saturday 30.6.07, and I had my first weigh-in last Friday. I lost an awesome 3.9kg, and 3cms from my waist! I'm so excited that things are finally going in the right direction. I have been battling to get down below 90kg for months, and one week of TF has done it! I am now officially 89.8kg. I was so excited that I had to get back on the scales, all my jumping around in excitement had made the girl miss my weight! Bring it on, only 24.8kg to go to goal!

I can't believe it - we won!!!!
Yep, you read it right - we won the netball grandfinal!
It was a great game, and the other team were good sports. We won by 6 goals, so it was pretty convincing.
On another great note, I had WW weigh-in today, and lost another .7kg! Taking my total loss to 9.3kg. I'm quite happy with that - it makes it an average loss of about .7 per week, which is just where I want to be.
I also went shopping the other day (birthday money) and went to the skinny-skinny chicks section and bought jeans and a top there. Wow, was that an awesome feeling! For those of you who don't know the skinny-skinny chicks section, that is the part of the shop that starts at size 6 and if you're lucky theres the odd size 14 or 16. I am still a 16, but I just can't believe I could buy something from that part of Target!!!
Yay me!
Anyway, my mojo is back! Lets hope it stays that way!
Cheers for now

Where, oh where, do I start???
It's been a rough weekend. Not emotionally, just food wise! On Saturday we had a 2nd birthday party - and we all know what that's like. Little boys, cheezles, birthday cake, cupcakes and a bbq lunch. I think the problem is that you go to one group, have one or two little boys. You then go to another group, have a couple of cheezles - vicious cycle! By the time lunch came, I wasn't at all hungry - but ate anyway (what the????) Then yesterday we had a 1st birthday for my twin niece & nephew. Yep, you guessed it ... just a repeat of Saturday!!! When will I learn to stay away from the lollies and chips, and just hang around the fruit (although I did have a bit of nectarine, does that cancel out the points???)Anyway, going for a walk this evening, and I really need to get off my butt and get back into it. I'm spiralling out of control, and have gone back to not thinking about what I'm eating. Need to have a good hard look at myself and get back into it!
On a better note, we are in the netball granny's! Tomorrow night we play the team that beat us by about 4 goals, all we've gotta do is slow the game down, and we should be fine. Will keep you posted about that.

Here is a picture of my gorgeous girls in their party hats and masks - cute aren't they???

It's called avoidance ...
I haven't posted for a while, simply because I've been avoiding the weight issue. Last week I GAINED 0.9kg, and this week I was expecting much of the same. I did lose, but only 0.2kg. I've packed my lunch for tomorrow with lots of fruit, yoghurt and healthy stuff. Even packed some WW cookies for if I get the munchies. I'm tackling this head-on again, coz I want to go DOWN the scales, not go up!
According to my graph, I'm still on track, but not nearly as ahead as I would like to be. I'll update that piccy soon, just couldn't be bothered right now.
Tomorrow I'm going for a walk with Stace, and we've decided that we're walking the hills, running (huh???) the straight, walking the bend, running the straight again (double huh???) then walking the hills again. Just to shake things up, and hopefully get things moving. Daemien (Stacey's hubby) has worked out a program for us on his home gym, so we are going to give that a burl on the weekend - will let you know how that goes.
On the flip-side, I found my fat-pants. These are pants that were comfy when I was at my biggest. I'll pop a photo on tomorrow of this. It was about 18kg or so ago, so there is a huge difference between a size 22 and a size 16 (creeping back up to 18), and Mick can't even remember these pants - but I surely do!
On the netball front: we had our quarter-finals last night. We played a team that are on average about 10 years younger than us! It was a fast and hard game, with lots of grunting and sweating. It was even through most of the game, but they beat us by 4 goals. We get another shot next week (happens to be my birthday on that day), then I reckon if we win that, we'll be playing the pre-adolescent team yet again. All we can do is give it a go, but probably not good that I'm fairly certain we'll lose - they're just so quick!
Anyway, gotta go do some uni stuff, and I will pop that photo on tomorrow. Noticed there's not enough photos.
Cheers big ears!

I went to Just Jeans and ...
On Saturday I went to Just Jeans and ... bought size 16!!! I have not been a size 16 (and I mean a true size 16) for about 10 years! I was sooooo excited. I bought to t-shirts, one top and a pair of jeans, and they were all size 16! Anyone would think I was happy about this!
On a more upsetting note, I have had an awful weekend WW wise. I went out for dinner on Friday and Saturday wasn't too bad, but I hadn't walked for what seemed like ages. Sunday was alright, except for the bottle of champers I had (mum had the other bottle), and yet again no excercise. Today started well with a 5-6km walk, which was promptly followed by a big plate of bar-be-qued bacon, eggs, sausages and hashbrowns. Followed by a cheese sandwich for lunch, and chocky cake and kabana - obviously not eaten together - for arvo tea. Needless to say my tummy is not a happy camper, the scales will protest on Wednesday, and I'm going to have to work my butt off tonight and tomorrow walking and at netball!

I went out last night...
Believe it or not, Mick & I actually got to go out last night without the kids! Aunty Bec looked after the girls, and Baylee even got to stay the night. She was very happy with that!
We went out to the Riverdeck Cafe, for Owen's farewell dinner for work. Owie has worked at the Dept for over 20yrs, and he's got another job, so we all went out. It was lovely, but NOT weight-watchers friendly! Never mind the 6 UDL's I drank, lets just consider the entree and dessert we had. It started off with bruscetta with fetta cheese on ciabatta bread. Not to mention the deepfried prawns and sea-food spring rolls! Because it was a platter to share, I just didn't have an idea of how much I ate! Also, dessert was a choc pudding with double-cream on the side. I really did indulge, but I figure we don't go out much, and it was a set menu at on $30 a head. Very reasonable, and absolutely delicious.
Can't even go for a walk tonight, I'm babysitting my godson, so I'll just have to pop him in a pram and pound the pavement that way!
I got heaps of compliments last night which was nice. Wore black slacks (are the smallest in my cupboard and they were actually falling off) and a green tank-top thing. Much more revealing and clingy than I usually wear, and I was really selfconscious of the bingo arms, but everyone commented on how much weight I had lost! It was overall a great night, but we didn't get home til 11.30 after picking up Kaiden. Very tired today, I'll just have to make sure I fit in some walking today sometime.

Another loss
Another loss for me - .5kg this week.
I'm quite happy with that, coz this week hasn't been great. Despite the Raid (which I obviously didn't update daily like planned), I went a bit off the rails, but that happens some times.
I think I needed to have a really crap week so that I could pull up my boots, and just start afresh!
So, that means that as of today, my weight is 90.4kg. I still have .8kg left to get to my 10%. This is my goal for this week.

Raid Day 1 (and weigh-in)
So I lost another .6kg - total loss of 8.6 - gotta be happy with that.
In relation to the raid, it's going well, kept under my points, wandered around for about 2 hours (my cardio!) and am doing well.
I am now running the Raid - the other person is not well, so I thought I'd do it - have no idea though!
Talk tomorrow

Netball VICTORY!!!
I have been playing with a bunch of girls on Tuesday nights for about 8 months now, and god we suck! Anyway, the last two games have been awesome. Last game we won 36-13, and this week we won 44-14 - OMG, I couldn't believe it. It was such a fast-paced game, and was tonnes of fun!
Unfortunately the walking hasn't been up to par this week - thunderstorms and lightening have put a dampener (excuse the pun!) on the plans! Tomorrow is weigh-in, and I'm not hoping for much. Actually, all I'm hoping for is to not get a gain!
Mum - thanks for the comment - it really motivated me that you are reading my blog, and is keeping me even more accountable. I hope to make you proud, and make sure I am around for a very long time for your gorgeous grandkids!
Will update tomorrow night, fingers crossed it's not bad news.

Crash and buuuurrrrrnnnnn!!!
OK, so the great behaviour and tonnes of motivation did not last long. Was going well today until lunch. Decided to buy "1/2 bag of hot chips". But that then went onto a potato cake. I then had Maccas for dinner coz I thought I'd blown it anyway!
Oh Crap!
Start again tomorrow.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!!

I jogged! Twice!!!
I headed off to my usual walk - approx. 4kms, with 2kms of hills, and met all the girls (hi Stace, Kel, Bec & Ainsley!). We did the first km of hills, then the 2km walk around the uni lake, then on the second lot of hills, I JOGGED! Not only did I jog, but I jogged twice. But wait, it gets even more impressive - I jogged up hill. Who'd've thunk it really?????
Bring on the big loss this week!

A loss is a loss is a loss!
OK, so another 0.5kg down! Must admit I wasn't feeling confident (yet again), but the scales have proven me wrong. I have now lost a total of 8kg in 8 weeks (little woo hoo for me!), and I only have 2kg to go until I get 10%.
Stace (my ww buddy) and I are now having a friendly bet on who can get to 10% first - she only has 1.4kg to go - although I must point out she started at a lower weight than me - but she is doing AWESOME!!! GO STACE!
Will keep you posted with the whole wager thing though - we have a thing where we buy each other a gift when we get to 10% - I want a prezzie!!!!

Who's a naughty girl then?
The answer would be ME!
This week has been disasterous! I'm not tracking, drinking water, and am partaking in WAY too much naughty, point-laden foods! God I feel like crap about myself right now - I was doing so well!
Back on track tomorrow. Gonna start doing all the RIGHT things - smacks for me!

Finally, some decent compliments!
Now, I'm not one to dislike compliments, but I have been getting some really bizarre ones lately, and today I finally got a couple of good ones. Check them out:
WEIRD COMPLIMENTS:
Hubby: "where's your arse gone"
Josie: "are you ok? Your head has shrunk"
Zehra: "you look like you've shit yourself"
Ainsley: "your handbag looks more comfortable under your arm now".
TODAYS COMPLIMENTS:
Margo: "your shrinking every time I see you"
Bernie: "saw you yesterday, I just thought 'wow'"
Gael: "you wouldn't want to loose much more weight, you're looking fantastic" (kinda bizarre, still have 24kg to go)
At least they are getting better!

Fan Bloody Tastic!!!

So I wasn't feeling confident, but another loss for me! I'm another 1.1kg down, which takes me to a grand total of 7.5kg! Shit hey! I'm feeling better, looking better, and am a lot more comfy with myself.
I have posted my Excel Tracker to the right, and will keep updating it as I go. As you can see, the blue line is my "ideal loss", and the pink line is my "actual loss". Obviously, I am right on track at the moment - if not a little ahead of the game!
I have added a photo taken tonight - I don't know if you can see, but I am definately seeing some serious changes! I am now solidly in a size 18, which I haven't been for what seems like forever! (and yes, I know it's not a flattering photo, but it'll do its purpose!)

Waiting & Anticipating
Alright, so I haven't been fabulously good this week. Tomorrow is weigh-in day, and I'd be lying if I said was confident about this. Twas all going well until probably Sunday. Did my walking, tracking, water etc, then I just kinda stopped. Saturday Mick brought home this magnificent piece of lamb (yep, he works at an abbitoir), and it was way too big for our little family. So I invited Nae & Mick and Stace & Daemian over for dinner. This was ok ... BUT ... that meant no walking, and I did partake in a couple (or 6) wines. Alright, not too much harm done there, coz we dry-baked, and a low-fat option for dessert. Then comes Monday. Felt I should do something, so I walked to playgroup - about 2 kms there and back - pushing the girls in the pram. That was good, BUT I took Stace out with me to see Music & Lyrics coz I won tix. Was an awesome movie, and we did take our own low-fat snacks. BUT they gave us some chockies, and I ate them when I got home. Anyway, today was ok food wise, but the water is just slack as! Played netball tonight, so I think I worked my Ruski off (that I had yet to drink til after the game!) I am hoping that it will all be ok - check this space tomorrow for the weigh-in results. Fingers, eyes, legs, arms, toes and everything else crossed ....

Thought I'd also pop on this photo

OK, so you've seen one before photo, here is the opportunity for you to see me at my worst.
This photo is of me on my 27th birthday: 27.3.05. Keep in mind that I was pregnant with Kaidy, but from the chest up, it's as accurate as it comes. After I gave birth, I stayed at about 109kg for about 4 or 5 months, and this is the image that sticks with me
Not pretty, huh?

The dreaded "before" photo
OK, so I figured it was time to do the "before" photo. This photo was actually taken for my application to The Biggest Loser - needless to say I didn't make it. My theory is that I wasn't big enough (!!!!), and I didn't have a sob-story. They actually asked you for your hardships, seeming as I didn't have any, I figured that may have been one of the reasons I wasn't picked.
Anyway, this is me at about 102kg - I think - and I took it on the 23rd May 2006. I have been heavier, but the only one I have of me at that size was when I was pregnant, and I've been told that that isn't an accurate photo - although all I lost after I had Kaidy was my tummy, but the rest of me stayed very large.
Anyway, here it is. If I get around to it, I'll pop an updated one of me up in the next couple of days to give a comparison.

WOW - didn't see that one coming!
I told you I was back on track! I lost 2.4kg today, which brings my total weight loss to 6.4kg in 5 weeks! YAAAAHOOOOO! I was so happy, that I actually did a happy dance!
I am also especially proud of myself today - I went to the Commercial Club with my parents (their shout of course) and of course it is all-you-can-eat there. Anyway, I remained strong, and had cold meat, salad and NO DESSERT! Do you know how hard it is for me to resist that yummy chocolate mousse - it is definately the best chocky mousse I've ever had, and I've never gone to the CC without getting it. It was so bloody hard, but I did it! Yay me!
Will keep you updated

Back on track
After my totally disasterous and devastating week last week, I am back on track! I have been journalling my points, and have exercised every day bar today - too bloody hot!
I bought a size 16 shirt today! WOOOO HOOOOO! Yes, it is a little snug, but won't take long till I look trim, taught and terrific in it (I hope). Also, I am wearing a pair of shorts that I've had for ages, and they've always been firm (if not downright uncomfortable). Anyhoo, today they are loose - yes loose - say it again, LOOSE! So, I decided to do my measurements - check it out below:
First number is 22.1.07, second number is 4.2.07 - thats 13 days
Neck: 37.5 to 36cm
Upper arm: 39 to 37cm
Chest: 107.5 to 107cm
Waist: stayed at 108cm
Hips: 119 to 118.5cm
Thigh: 72.5 to 71cm
Calf: 45.5 to 44.5cm
GOTTA BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT!

First number is 22.1.07, second number is 4.2.07 - thats 13 days
Neck: 37.5 to 36cm
Upper arm: 39 to 37cm
Chest: 107.5 to 107cm
Waist: stayed at 108cm
Hips: 119 to 118.5cm
Thigh: 72.5 to 71cm
Calf: 45.5 to 44.5cm
GOTTA BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT!
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?????
1.1Kg GAIN!!!!
What the hell happened??? OK, now I know that the all-you-can-eat dinner on Monday probably didn't help, and the 100gm bag of twisties and the Mars Lite yesterday may have had something to do with it. But, a 1.1kg GAIN??????I could have just crawled into foetal position, sucking my thumb and calling out for my mummy when I saw that I had gained! I knew that I had gained, but that was not what I was expecting!
I then proceeded to go out to McDonalds, had a quarter pounder meal, 6 nuggets and a choc sundae to drown (or smother) my sorrows. I will be waking up tomorrow and starting again!
On a more positive note, I have created a graph using word excel, which has a line going from 99.5kg straight down to 65kg, with a 52 week time frame. The purpose of this is to plot where I'm at, and if I'm on target. Good news is I am still about 1.2kg ahead of schedule, so my world isn't completely caving in!
Anyway, I need to go and post on the WW boards now, and admit all my sins and hope for forgiveness.

How interesting, I'm making the right choices ... hmmmmm
Last night I went out with Mick, Bay and Kaidy to the Blazing Stump for dinner, to celebrate Julie's birthday (good friend of mine). Anyhoo, instead of getting the REALLY YUMMY supreme chicken kiev, I ordered the grilled fish of the day - without the caper butter - and salad. Yes, I did partake in some chippies, but still - I didn't eat the cheesy, garlicy, juicy, yummy kiev choice did I?????
Anyway, I didn't just stop there. Because I'm taking part in the Raid VII, I didn't have any grog: although a champers would have hit the spot. I must admit though about a teaspoon of the chocky cake made it into my mouth - much better that 2 slices though!
Who'd have thought that the fattest chick at the table would have the best diet (if only for that meal). I was chuffed with myself, so I felt like bragging! My new blog seemed just the right place to do it.
Anyway, bye for now, will catch up soon

My entry into blogland - again
Hi all, and welcome to my new blog.
I will start with a bit of a rundown of me: I am a 28 year old fat chick! I have been a fat chick since I was about 18 or 19. I am married to a man (Michael) who loves me regardless, and we have 2 stunningly beautiful little girls: Baylee (3) and Kaiden (21mths). That's them in the photo with their fabulous dad!
At my heaviest, I weighed 109kg, which was straight after having Kaiden. I have since joined Weight Watchers (3.1.07) and was measured at 99.5kg. In 3 weeks, I have gotten down to 94.4kg - YIPPEE FOR ME! This is the lowest I've weighed in a very long time!
Anyway, thought this blog may keep me accountable, and everyone else on the boards at WW have them, and I thought it was a brilliant idea!
PS - I've been blogging on myspace, wasn't completely happy with it, so am trying here! First few entries will be repeats!
